Though he lost his life onboard , his sacrifice ultimately alerted Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi of Duchess Satine’s danger which led to the destruction of the assassin droids and Anakin’s elimination of Senator Tal Merrik who always reminded me of the Harry Potter villain, Quirinus Quirrell
