Good day to all my viewers and subscribers! This is the third installment of my tutorial video series "Simple Engine" and Floater Four Autogyro with audio narration by Minnie Anne. In this session, we will create a model connecting rod in Inventor 2016, that will be included in the final engine assembly. The engine is a six cylinder two stroke rotary exhaust valve engine designed to be used for small aircrafts. Along the way, we will also have tutorial session in HSM Works for simulating the CNC process, and generating the final G or NC codes for various CNC machines. We even have codes for Linux CNC, and Mach 3. Further down the line, we have tutorial sessions for Solidworks 2016 for other parts to be added in the final engine assembly. This also covers tutorial session in SolidCAM for CNC code simulations. For the electronic systems, such as ignition, engine and fuel management, tutorial sessions in Proteus 8, Altium Designer 14, and Eagle PCB is also included. The engine management system are controlled by an AVR and PIC micro-controller, which includes a fuel management system. Other data acquisition and control will be handled by another PIC micro-controller. With this, there is also a series of tutorials in FlowCode5 for the firmware of the micro-controllers. In the final stages, some relevant parts, assemblies, and the entire model will be rendered in Keyshot 6, for presentation. A series of tutorial in Keyshot is included, that covers basic 3D model rendering, to creating environments and advance materials. Some rendered scene of the auto-gyro is displayed in the beginning and end of each video as background. The tutorial sessions will be uploaded regularly as bandwidth allows. The actual models can be downloaded from my GrabCAD account indicated at the end of each video.
